This FDIC 2012 is going to be the most attended ever with more than 30,000 expected by the registration numbers so far, to be on site! I am hoping we can get 1000 serious firefighters to register for the Courage and Valor fun run. EVERY penny goes to the Ray Downey Courage & Valor Foundation to support the Ray Downey award. If you can make it to the run I will see you there if you treasure Chief Downey's legacy, as we do, you can donate your $20 bucks by registering anyway! Please follow the link below and thanks. Permalink Reply by Frank Ricci on March 8, 2012 at 6:29pm I am in, now only 999 more to go. This is a great event. Anyone who attends FDIC should participate. Even if you walk it is about supporting the Courage and Valor Foundation and Fire Engineering does a great job putting it together.

Permalink Reply by Bobby Halton on March 15, 2012 at 2:01pm Okay we only need 996 more runners and where there! Come on guys help me out here. Someday I'd like to see this run hit 5000, we should be able to do that with all the firefighters we have had to show. You'd think with 30,000 of us there at least 5000 of us have to be runners.
Permalink Reply by Jeff Betz on March 22, 2012 at 1:48pm Pretty sure I'm in, need to talk to my buddy that is coming down for the week with me. He's into fitness like me, so you likely have 2 more, it's the least we can do to help.
