Permalink Reply by Shauna Baccus on October 12, 2011 at 9:54pm Our Policy is simple Depending on the Humidity and heat index, Training is based on the warnings issued , as far as cold weather we train outside as long as it is not snowing nor below 20 degrees.
What does your Occupational Health and Safety say about hot & cold weather training? Let me see what we have at our department and I will get back to you. I believe we go by OH & S but not 100%

We don't have anything set in stone but from what I am hearing from everyone is in the summer it is discretionary based on discussions with our OH&S guy & the Batt Chief) and -20 in the winter (again based on the same statement) After I believe between -15 and - 20 we don't wash the trucks because the doors freeze shut. But then again we have rolled out the door and it is -52 with the wind.
