When we get politicians to understand that these grants go together, maybe we can move forward Brother. The idea of reducing AFG money to give it to SAFER, I guess sounds good to the folks in DC but for the common folks like us, my Dept. is losing members through attrition. We are down to 7 member crews from 9. We can't afford to stick to what the SAFER grant rules are, no money. IMHO, I would gladly pay pay $5 dollars, that's all I can afford, to any of the Capital Hill gang to crawl into a good basement job with me and find out what our world is truely about! They have no idea.
